Trevor Lee

Trevor is a trial and appellate litigator, and has experience in a wide range of industries, including construction, biotech, public lands, computer science, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, financial services, and consumer products, among others. Trevor’s clients range from Fortune 500 companies, to small businesses and nonprofits, to closely held businesses and individuals.

Trevor’s work involves complex commercial and intellectual property disputes, including patent, copyright, trademark, trade secret, contract, property, partnership, and business disputes. Trevor regularly represents general contractors, owners, design professionals, and subcontractors in design and construction disputes. He has also represented clients in land use, tort, employment, election, administrative, and constitutional disputes. Trevor maintains a regular appellate practice, and is a Utah Appellate Roster Attorney and a Tenth Circuit Appellate CJA Panel Attorney. Trevor has briefed and argued cases in state and federal appellate courts across the country, including the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Utah Court of Appeals, and the Utah Supreme Court.

Before joining the firm, Trevor clerked on the United States District Court for the District of Utah and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Trevor also practiced at a large firm in San Francisco and a litigation boutique in Salt Lake City. Trevor is a licensed patent attorney, and has prosecuted patents in electrical, biomedical, and mechanical industries. Before law school, Trevor earned a Master’s Degree in Writing from DePaul University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University.

Outside of the office, Trevor enjoys skiing, mountain biking, backpacking, and fly fishing with his wife and kids.
