Maggie Hughey AbuHaidar
After law school, Maggie completed back-to-back clerkships in Trenton, New Jersey, for Chief Justice Deborah T. Poritz, Supreme Court of New Jersey, and Chief Judge Anne E. Thompson, U.S. District Court, D.N.J. From 1999 until 2010, she worked as a Civil Assistant U.S. Attorney, first in Newark, New Jersey, and then in Salt Lake City, Utah. Her caseload at the U.S. Attorney’s Office included employment discrimination and tort cases, environmental challenges, immigration deportation and Social Security disability appeals, and civil rights cases involving racial profiling and excessive force.
Since 2000, Maggie has co-owned OK3 AIR, an FBO based in Heber City, Utah, with her husband, Nadim, who flew FA-18s for the U.S. Navy. Serving as General Counsel to OK3 AIR, she has handled a variety of operational, employment, administrative law, regulatory compliance, contract, and litigation matters and negotiations.
Maggie uses her experience to help FBOs and other aeronautical businesses navigate the legal challenges specific to general aviation operations. She also assists clients with a broad range of civil litigation matters.
Maggie and her family have called Park City home since 2000.
